Our company signed an MOU with Guóchén Robotic Technology on establishing a joint-stock company of manufacturing smart health care devices last 9th in Hangzhou in China.

 

The MOU was part of opening ceremony of Korea Robot Center (KRC, located in Robot Town in Xiāoshān in Hangzhou, China) of Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement.

According to the MOU, both agreed to basic conditions to establish the joint-stock company. Based on the previous MOU signed in Apr. 2017, the two actualized business in China. The establishment would be completed in the near future by carrying out all the necessary process (conclusion of the agreement, establishment of the joint-stock company following related laws in China).

 

We plan to penetrate the Chinese market of health related equipment and rehabilitation medial devices by establishing the joint company. We also believe that we have our market control over and differentiate our products from items in the current market by providing SEA (Series Elastic Actuator), core part of smart health care equipment, co-developed with DGIST, to the joint company. In addition, we hope this chance can be a bridgehead into semiconductor and semiconductor devices market growing fast.
